Bridging culture, music and generations.

Anthony’s goal with Symphony 808 is to bring two different cultures together to create an innovative new form. For the branding, Anthony wanted a look evocative of the 1980s, which we updated with a modern color palette. We crafted a custom graphic with bold stripes and a distressed overlay and paired it with a heavy sans serif font. The logo is a sonic baton—a soundwave combined with a conductor’s baton. We produced social media assets leading up to the release of Movement One of Symphony 808 which included static frames, motion graphics and short interview videos of Anthony sharing his experience making Symphony 808. Our aim for this project was to strike a balance in tone between Anthony’s playful personality and the importance of the project.
